Referral Medicare and most insurance requires a phyisican referral for speech therapy. Please call your doctor to ask them to fax us an “order” for speech therapy. Our fax is 515-864-0740. We can offer services in our North Liberty, IA office, teletherapy or home (home and teletherapy are based on client need, diagnosis, area, and insurance allowance).
Evaluation A comprehensive speech and or swallow assessment will include client/care partner interview, informal/formal testing measures and observation. We provide analysis of results and team with the client to create a plan of care. These assessments are typically 60 minutes in length at minimum. Swallow assessments via teletherapy are not provided at this time.
Treatment Sessions are typically 30-50 minutes in length depending on goals and need. How often and how long our visits are will be determined as a team. Our clinicians will team with the client and their care partners to choose best fit. Treatment follows ASHA code, CMS guidelines, current research, patient feedback and always SLP expertise.
